When the drag module is not recognized it could be due to one of the following causes.
1. When the cutter has a right ADC installed on the machine, the drag module must always be mounted in slot 1 (left most slot)! This is to prevent damage to the module during boot up.
If the module is mounted in another slot than slot 1, the machine will give an error.
2. The height of the drag module is manually adjustable.
When the drag module is positioned to low it will not be recognized by the machine.
- Remove the drag knife from the module.
- Reboot the machine.
- When the module is recognized, the module was set too low.
Adjusting the height:
- Insert the knife holder again.
- Loosen the 4 screws at the backside of the module.
- Position it about 3mm above the media/conveyor.
- Secure the 4 bolts at the back.
3. Check if there is no damage to the connector pins
