When SAi Flexi software establishes communication with a Summa roll cutter, it does not terminate the connection.
At times, this prevents communication of any other software with the cutter.
Use the following procedure to prevent this from happening:
- Make sure all SAi Flexi software is closed completely.
- Open Summa Cutter Control (SCC) and perform any operations as needed.
- For OPOS-CAM operation, SCC must be running in the background. You can minimize the SCC program window before initializing SAi Flexi software. SCC OPOS-CAM communication will not be affected by SAi Flexi.
- After the above are performed, SAi Flexi may be initialized and cut files can be sent to the Summa cutter.
