The maximum thickness you can route is in theory 25mm.
The maximum clearance under the router module (with router matt mounted) is 30mm.
Due to mechanical limitations (free space between module and table), maximum routing depth is limited to 25mm.
The recommended maximum milling depth (image: number 2) is 1.2 times the router bit diameter (image: number 1). For thicker material multiple passes can be used.
To keep the table in optimal shape, it is required to use an extra protection mat whilst routing. The router will always slightly route into the protection mat. This makes the mat a consumable. Summa offers a cost effective protection mat.
