F Series - What is the maximum thickness that can be routed?

Modified on Thu, 25 Jul at 7:47 PM

Because of mechanical limitations (free space between the module and table), the maximum routing depth is limited to 25 mm.

The recommended maximum milling depth is 1.2 times the router bit diameter.

Multiple passes can be used for thicker material.

To keep the table in optimal shape, it is required to use an extra protection mat during routing.

The router will unavoidably come into contact with the protective mat, causing it to wear out over time and will eventually need to be replaced.

For this reason, Summa offers a cost-effective protection mat.

The maximum clearance under the router module with the router mat on the table is 30 mm.
