SGP - How to make a clean install of GoProduce

When you want to first remove all GoProduce data from the computer before you install a new version that proceed as described below. The procedure is build up to do troubleshooting on GoProduce. So parts can be skipped if you just want to make a clean installation than proceed immediately to step: "REMOVE".


BACKUP: 

When doing this is it is most likely to do some trouble shooting. Due to that it could be advised to first backup some data:


1) Backup the "Material manager":


2) Seve the file on a new location on your computer, do not use the default location of Documents. In this example data was saved in folder C:\SummaBackup\:


3) Repeat same actions to Backup the "Action sets":


4) Just to be sure no data gets lost you could also copy the entire Documents folder of GoProduce and Program Data of GoProduce to that backup folder (C:\SummaBackup): 

C:\Users\support\Documents\Summa GoProduce
C:\ProgramData\Summa GoProduce


REMOVE:

Remove the GoProduce software using "Windows Apps & features":


1) Remove software 



2) First request select YES:


3) Second request also select YES:



4) Third request is to uninstall the license - select NO  when you want to use the same GoProduce license activation code - select YES when you want to use a different license activation code.



Delete or check if following folders are removed:
C:\Users\support\Documents\Summa GoProduce
C:\ProgramData\Summa GoProduce

INSTALL:

Install the version you did download from the Summa website or the version you want to specific test.

Now test the software when all is working fine now you. Make sure to make some test before restoring any backup data! When all is working fine you could start with the restore of the "Action set" and "Material manager".


RESTORE:

You could start with restoring the Action sets and Material manager this can be done by the Restore options in GoProduce. It is advise to only restore one at a time and first test the functionality of the software first before continue.
