DC4(sx) - Firmware Upgrade

To get newer functionality, it may be necessary to upgrade the firmware of the printer/cutter.

Before upgrading the firmware, it is advised to make a backup of the configuration of the machine.

See document "Backup DC3-DC4(sx).pdf".

Then reboot the machine: switch the machine off, then power on again.

Download the new firmware from the Summa support page:

https://www.summa.com/en/support/software-firmware/

Activate the filter "Firmware" and "Legacy Printer Cutters".

Download the firmware appropriate for the printer cutter.

Note the location of the downloaded file.

Finally, use Summa Printer Control to send the new firmware to the printer.
