Modified on Thu, 4 Jun, 2020 at 2:56 PM

There are two ways to output only a selection of the design:

1) Make a selection in your design software and only send selected to WinPlot

2) Make your cut selection in Winplot by Color or by selected curves

1) Make your selection in the design software:

- Select the curves you want to cut (1) and send selection to WinPlot (2)

In the design software you can often also make selections based on color or fill, this will make it easy to export a selection to WinPlot

- Only selection will open in WinPlot instead of the whole job:

2) Make your selection in WinPlot

In this case you have serveral optins in the "selection tab" of the output window:

- Design to cut out everything.

- ‘Current Selection is chosen, then only the selected objects will be cut out.

- 'Cut by colour'; Just choose one object in a certain colour before you select to output the job. Then click on ‘Colour in Selection’. All objects that have that colour will be cut.  There exists also the possibility to choose more than one colour.
