When using any Summa Machine, there are Windows Settings that should be verified and/or changed to ensure optimal performance and to prevent software from not working properly.
Make sure that there is no antivirus software running.
Use the following procedure to make verify and/or change Folder Options:
Click the Ellipsis to open the menu and click Options.
1. Click the View tab.
2. Make sure that "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" is selected.
3. "Hide extensions for known file types" should be unchecked.
4. Click Apply followed by OK to save the changes.
